Use this MapBasic routine to select a directory that contains ODBC linked tables, and have them automatically refreshed and updated. If you store your linked files in a directory that needs constant refreshing for data currency, try this function. Great for system maintenance of your GIS as the routine just loops through all files in a directory, determines if they are linked. If they are, the file is automatically refreshed and updated.
