Programs for manipulating vector data files, particularly for MapInfo. VecTrans converts between Idrisi VEC, MapInfo MIF/MID, Arc/Info UNGEN and other vector formats. Arc-Poly generates MapInfo polygons from arc-node data in MIF or UNGEN format. GridMake creates line grids or grid squares at any spacing in MapInfo MIF format. DOS programs, no special requirements. Developed by Archaeological Computing Laboratory, University of Sydney, Australia.

GfK GeoMarketing annually releases the "GfK Demographics" study, which calculates the regional distribution of household types, income brackets and accommodation types in Germany.
