MV is a desktop mapping system that provides multiple layering, imports from mif/mid and shape files ( all vectors are stored in an access mdb file) and allows map management, thematic analysis, geo querying, and editing capabilities. In addition to multi layering capabiltities, users can draw points, polylines, polygons in any user defined ms access tables. Power users of MS Access can even further leverage the databases by building their own queries for use in mapview. Developed using SylvanMaps this is a very useful piece of software for those wishing to learn and apply mapping and databases and contains many of the functionalities that top end systems have.
