This will be the last subscriber email of 1999 for Directions Magazine.  We'll pick up these weekly updates of new doings at the magazine on Tuesday, January 4, 2000.<p>


There are many things about our first year about which we are proud.  One that underpins all of our work, but doesn't often get mentioned, is the Company Directory and its live, dynamic relation to several associated databases.<p><ul>

<li> For each company, in addition to contact information, descriptions, and a link to that company site, we list

<li>each of their press releases for the past year (over 1,200 releases are available)
 <li> a link to live stock information, for the 50+ publicly traded companies

 For each of the over 500 products (broken into 11 product types), we list:<ul>
<li>description, requirements, formats, price, and destination URL
<li>a link to that product's Wish List
 <li> a link to any submissions for that product in the Map Gallery
<li>a link to a free download or demo
<li>a link to any reader-submitted comments on the product</ul>
