The Institute for Spatial Economic Analysis (ISEA) at the University of Redlands School of Business published a study (pdf) that includes a calculation of the "average burden of gasoline prices on consumer's budgets for commutes to work by zip-code for the United States, including Hawaii and Alaska," and shows the results on a map.
