Artist Bill Batson is on a mission to compete with Google "with my humble sketch pad and pen," according to an article in Nyack News & Views. "My plan to create a hand drawn google map of my village will require more hands. Next May I am planning to stage a Sketch Flash Mob to cover enough territory to use the custom street view function in the Google Maps API. ...
