Spatial Data Technologies Announces CartoPac Support of the New Trimble GPS Pathfinder® ProXH™ Receiver

Fort Collins, CO (December 12, 2005) â€" Spatial Data Technologies (SDT) announced today that their CartoPac 1.6 mobile mapping software now supports the Trimble GPS Pathfinder ProXH receiver.CartoPac users now have the option to take advantage of the GPS Pathfinder ProXH receiver's subfoot (30 cm) accuracy.Trimble ProXH users benefit from CartoPac's easy-to-use interface for mobile mapping, data collection, in-field decision support and navigation.

In addition to providing high accuracy the ProXH receiver reports a Predicted Post-Processing Accuracy (PPA) while collecting GPS data.CartoPac 1.6 gives ProXH users the ability to enforce that GPS positions are within a specified PPA range before points are collected.This capability assures that data collected in field meets desired accuracy requirements.

In addition to ProXH support, CartoPac 1.6 introduces new features that allow users to download selected features to the mobile device based on specified attributes and expanded projection support.
