Transfer of Presidency at Geo-3D

 MONTREAL, CANADA---Geo-3D Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Daniel Desgagné as President of the company. He moves to this new position from his role as Vice President at Geo-3D, which he has held since his arrival at the company last October. Mr. Desgagné has spent a significant portion of the last 25 years in key senior management and executive level positions within the financial services, consulting and advanced technology industries. Until recently, Daniel held the post of President of companies in the textile industry; more precisely, in retailing and manufacturing. The founder and outbound president of Geo-3D, Denis Mercier, explained, ''I recruited Daniel with the aim of eventually offering him Geo-3D’s presidency. Since the company was founded 11 years ago, I have always based my management decisions on the company’s healthy growth. My decision to transfer the presidency to Daniel falls under an objective to accelerate Geo-3D’s development." Mr. Desgagné’s decision to join our organization was made with a view to return to the field of advanced technology, an industry that has occupied nearly half of his professional career. ''Moreover, I wanted to invest in a company in order to support its growth, optimize its profitability and ultimately, to increase its financial value. I also did not want to compromise with regards to corporate values and resource competence. Mr. Mercier remains as majority shareholder of the company and will occupy the position of Vice President of Production, responsible for implementing Geo-3D solutions. The Trident-3D, Kronos based solution is a georeferenced image acquisition system used for mobile mapping and videologging. Survey images can be published in a GIS or transferred to photogrammetric software for further analysis. Resulting georeferenced images are particularly well adapted for use with Trident-3D Analyst to measure and inventory roadside infrastructure. Applications include planning, asset management, appraisal and assessment, GIS, engineering, and emergency response intervention within the transportation, civil and municipal engineering, utilities, homeland security, as well as real estate industries.
