The CADJET 3D is targeted at the Architecture, Construction and Engineering (AEC), Mechanical CAD, Electrical CAD and GIS/Mapping markets. It offers the flexibility of printing crisp, 2D line drawings or complex 3D renderings and mapping images with brilliant color. The CADJET 3D is built on the recent technical advances of ENCAD's NovaJet® printers. In Super Draft Mode, the 36 inch (0.92 meters) printer operates at extremely fast speeds of over 200 square feet per hour (sfph) (18.5 square meters per hour). It also boasts a resolution of 600 x 300 dpi with remarkable life-like color. In fact, the CADJET 3D will print a 2 foot x 3 foot full color plot in 1 min.40 sec.*

The CADJET 3D is also capable of 600 x 600 dpi color printing in Draft Mode speed of 95 sfph (8.8 smph), Normal Mode speed of 66 sfph (6.1 smph) and Best Mode speed of 50 sfph (4.6 smph). The CADJET 3D is versatile enough to handle the demands of today's CAD, GIS, and architectural customers. For example, the CADJET 3D can quickly output black and white drawings in the Super Draft mode, or it can quickly output color renderings or GIS maps using the very high quality 600 dpi Best Mode.

The CADJET 3D Windows® driver, called V/R Xpress(TM), allows Windows 95, 98, NT 4.0 and 2000 users to print from virtually any Windows application.V/R Xpress offers enhanced output device features such as rotation, color control, scaling, and print preview. It can also Raster Image Process (RIP), preview, and print Postscript® Level 2, EPS, and PDF file formats and supports the pass-through of HP-GL/2, and already ripped HP RTL and EN RTL files. The ENCAD AutoCAD® drivers support both HDI (Heidi Device Interface) and ADI (AutoCAD Device Interface) interfaces and works with AutoCAD 2000, AutoCAD LT 2000, AutoCAD Rel.13 and 14.
