Company: ESRI
Integrated Compatibility Will Increase Stability Redlands, California—ESRI's upcoming ArcGIS 9.3 software release will fully support the Microsoft Windows Vista operating system across the ArcGIS family of products. The new support now makes ArcGIS fully compatible with Vista for increased reliability. Starting at the ArcGIS 9.2 Service Pack 4 release, ESRI added support for Vista in all the ArcGIS Desktop products: ArcInfo, ArcEditor, ArcView, ArcReader, ArcGIS Desktop extensions, ArcGIS Engine, and ArcInfo Workstation. ArcGIS 9.3 will add Vista support to ArcGIS Server (including ArcSDE and ArcIMS) and ArcGIS Image Server, helping to support the needs of developers building applications on top of these products. ArcGIS 9.3 is expected to be available in the third quarter of 2008.
