MINNEAPOLIS -- VirtualFund.com, Inc.(Nasdaq: VFND - news), a diversified technology company, today announced that ColorSpan Corporation, the principal operating subsidiary of its Digital Graphics Business Unit (DGBU), will launch a new series of wide-format digital color printers, the DisplayMaker® Series XII, at Seybold Seminars, at Hynes Convention Center in Boston, Massachusetts, March 2-4, 1999.The DisplayMaker Series XII printers print from seven to ten times faster than other wide-format digital printers with print speeds up to 240 square feet per hour.They include twelve (12) 600-dpi printheads with Gamut+ Variable Mode Printing for the widest color gamut and greatest flexibility of any printer available today.With prices starting at $18,995, these DisplayMaker Series XII inkjet printers are available in 52-inch, 62-inch, and 72-inch widths and will begin shipping in limited quantities by March 29, 1999.

The DisplayMaker Series XII is supported by raster image processors (RIPs) from ColorSpan and from third party RIP suppliers.ColorSpan's ColorMark® Pro 4000 Print Server is based on a powerful PostScript-language compatible RIP and features a state-of-the-art superscalar processor for incredibly fast processing speeds.

Markets
The high speed, high resolution and low cost of operation of the DisplayMaker Series XII printers make them ideal printers for service bureaus, sign makers, photo labs and other service providers that produce signs, photos and digital fine art.Other users will include advertising and design agencies, exhibit and display houses, and in-house graphic arts and marketing departments.

Pricing and Availability
There are three models of the new DisplayMaker XII series: 52-inches wide for $18,995; 62-inches wide priced at $22,995; and 72-inches wide priced at $26,995.All models will be sold through an international network of resellers and distributors.Volume-based OEM contracts are currently under negotiation.
