La Caixa and Adara invest in the Spanish IT firm Genasys

 Genasys, IT firm specialised in location services and spatial analysis, has received a new investment from its current partner ADARA Venture Partners, and from some of its private associates. The investment round has also included the investment of Caixa Capital Pyme Innovación, a company belonging to the group La Caixa, specially interested in expanding innovative firms. These investments take place at times of special sensitivity of the cash flow in financial markets, and show a serious commitment to the growing possibilities of the Genasys business. About Genasys Genasys Holding, founded in 2004, groups a set of companies whose flagship is Genasys II Spain SAU, and whose activity is focused on solutions and services to locate mobile units and management of geographic data. Its most outstanding products are middleware systems for mobile communications operators, which include the possibility of alerts per zone, management of location in roaming and interoperation among different location providers.
