S-CAT (www.s-cat.gov.uk) is a catalogue-based procurement scheme which gives public sector organisations access to a listing of pre-qualified providers of a wide range of services and consultancy.Category 15 is one of three new categories added to S-CAT for 2003 and will simplify the procurement process for public sector organisations seeking GIS products and services.
