MELBOURNE, Florida, December 1, 2003 – ImageLinks, a leading provider of imagery solutions for visualization and simulation applications, has been selected by Lockheed Martin Corporation (NYSE: LMT) to provide high-resolution satellite imagery products that will be used in engineering development simulators for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) and flight training simulators for the F/A-22 Raptor.The announcement was made today during the Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC), Orlando, Florida, December 1-4, 2003 (ImageLinks Booth #120).

ImageLinks will provide its multi-resolution, cross-sensor TrueTerrain™ imagery products of large areas covering Southwest Asia, Eastern Europe, the Southwestern United States, Texas, and the Northeastern United States.When incorporated into flight simulators, this true-color, geo-specific imagery allows pilots to experience flying the aircraft over a specific geographic area without leaving the ground – ultimately resulting in enhanced mission awareness, understanding and safety.The company already provides Lockheed Martin with geo-specific imagery used in several of their training simulators.

For the JSF project, ImageLinks will utilize data from a variety of sensors to create the final imagery products.Sources of data include LANDSAT, QuickBird, SPOT, IRS, IKONOS, and aerial data.

The supersonic, multi-role F-35 will lay the foundation for U.S.and allied air superiority in the 21st Century.It is designed to replace the F-16, F/A-18, A-10 and AV-8 Harrier aircraft.The F/A-22 Raptor stealth aircraft will replace the F-15 Eagle.
