January 14, 2004

Company: Aligo Inc.
Industry: Location-based Services (LBS), GPS, Location Technology
Location: San Francisco, CA, United States of America

New hosted solution incorporates Aligo's proven technology, delivers dramatic cost savings and real-time management of mobile workers

San Francisco - Aligo Inc., a global leader in mobile software solutions, today launched WorkTrack, a hosted solution for managing the time and productivity of mobile employees.Aligo's WorkTrack combines proven, leading-edge mobile software expertise with advanced Global Positioning System (GPS) technology to offer companies real-time centralized view and control of their distributed workforces, resulting in cost savings, increased worker productivity, and improved job log accuracy through an easy-to-use attendance and job reporting system.

WorkTrack launches with 10 customers who have selected the solution for managing their field workforce, including Acme Mechanical, Roth Brothers, Chas Roberts and Knoll Systems. These companies, all of which manage distributed workforces in the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) industry, will be able to receive real-time job reports from their workers in the field, which they will use to automate their payroll and billing processes.

WorkTrack is targeted specifically toward industries in which the employees work outside the office - and according to the Bureau of Labor statistics, there are roughly 16 million U.S.workers in this sector.Aligo will target other industries such as Installation, landscaping, security companies, delivery companies and construction and building trades, which are all ideal customers for WorkTrack.WorkTrack was designed to offer companies, ranging from just a few employees to large enterprises, an inexpensive, simple means to track employee location and job status - all factors that affect overall company efficiency and productivity. As a hosted service, WorkTrack eliminates the need for companies to buy and manage additional hardware or software while delivering the cost savings with only a GPS-enabled mobile phone.WorkTrack is priced at $15.00 per user monthly.Key features of WorkTrack include:

Device and user interface simplicity for field personnel: A GPS-enabled mobile phone is the only device required for employees to record their job status.WorkTrack employs intuitive, one-button commands that allows field service workers to report job start, break and finish times -- a process that requires very little training. In addition, WorkTrack's advanced synchronization technology ensures that data is always accessible, even if field employees are in locations with intermittent wireless connectivity.

Web-based centralized management for administrators: WorkTrack employs a "dashboard" view that centralizes employee and job information, giving management the ability to easily see the location and job status of their workers.Administrators can take an "at-a-glance" view of the entire workforce, or can drill down to individual worker location and job completion status. In addition, the console provides the ability to add, remove, or reschedule jobs, speeding the decision-making process and eliminating the inefficiencies of paper and phone-based systems.

Instant, accurate report generation: The WorkTrack Report Engine allows managers to instantly generate time, job and location reports - and the reports easily format to existing management and reporting programs. In addition, companies can use WorkTrack to quickly and simply automate billing and payroll functions.

"We're extremely enthusiastic about offering WorkTrack for companies focused on streamlining their field force management in an affordable, easy to use, easy to manage manner," said Robert Smith, president of chief executive officer of Aligo."Aligo's WorkTrack was built on the foundation of offering software that is both innovative and ROI-driven.As Aligo continues to exploit the advances in mobility, our mission is to automate and add value to mobile specific business processes. This is WorkTrack's guiding philosophy."
