Power and Associates, the recognized voice in customer research, to conduct a study designed to provide the industry’s first clear review of digital map and point of interest (POI) accuracy.

Through both field research and testing, the study offers navigation and location-based solution providers and consumers a comprehensive source of information regarding Tele Atlas’ digital map data accuracy. Specifically, the study:

• Tested and analyzed portable navigation systems and the mapping accuracy of each; and
• Explored the accuracy and timeliness of Tele Atlas’ digital map database and related content.

J.D. Power and Associates has been the primary catalyst in bringing the language of customer satisfaction to a variety of industries. The ‘Digital Map Accuracy Study’ establishes a major quality benchmark, setting the mark for systems across all portable and in-car navigation markets.
