Group 1 Reports Adjournment of Sagent's Special Stockholders Meeting to July 21, 2003

LANHAM, MD-- /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Group 1 Software (Nasdaq: GSOF) today reported that it was informed that a quorum was not present at today's Sagent (Nasdaq: SGNT.OB) Special Stockholders' Meeting.Group 1 was further informed that the Special Stockholder's Meeting was adjourned to July 21, 2003.Sagent's stockholders were asked to approve among other propositions, the purchase of Sagent's key assets by Group 1 Software.On April 16, 2003, Group 1 announced that it had entered into a purchase agreement to acquire the key assets of Sagent Technology, Inc.

Andre Boisvert, Chairman of the Sagent Board said, "It was determined that due to delays in the mail, a large number of our stockholders had not received the mailed Proxy materials in a timely fashion.We therefore took an action to adjourn the meeting until July 21, in order for our stockholders to have additional time to cast their votes."
