ORLANDO, Fla. – September 25, 2006 - Aerial Cartographics of America, Inc. (ACA), celebrating 33 years as a leading Florida photogrammetric firm, is pleased to announce its latest innovative product – MultiVisionTM service. The new aerial photography and software solution allows individuals to view and use multiple, simultaneous digital oblique images for planning, assessment and emergency purposes – all from a single computer screen.

ACA is the exclusive provider of MultiVision and has created a new division called MultiVision USA to introduce the solution nationwide.

“The new oblique imaging solution will help users save significant time and energy in areas such as property assessments and transportation studies,” said Jim Humphrey, ACA’s president.

Multivision is already installed in many county appraisers’ offices across the U.S., helping to determine true property value assessment. Multivision is also used for emergency services such as hurricane relief, E-911, police, and fire.

“Along with the creation of MultiVision USA, I am pleased to announce David Ledgerwood has been promoted to president of our new division,” Humphrey said. “David was previously ACA’s senior vice president of business development, and he will now be responsible for providing Multivision oblique aerial services across the U.S.”

As part of the MultiVision solution, ACA has developed a five directional digital -camera solution that produces a near 360 degree, synchronized view of nearly any ground feature in high resolutions, ranging from two to 12inches

The software also includes several enhanced features, such as tools that allow the user to view and measure – both vertically and horizontally – items such as building facades, in order to create full 3D models. MultiVision works with all GIS programs, importing and exporting layers easily.

ACA has also announced Todd Rogers has joined the firm and will be responsible for business development and client support along Florida’s Gulf Coast. Rogers, who will be based in Tampa, Fla., has more than 17 years of marketing and client relations experience.

“I’m pleased and excited to be a part of the ACA team. This organization has a proven reputation in the mapping field, and I look forward to being a local resource that helps our clients succeed in the marketplace,” said Rogers.

Established in 1973, ACA continues to be a leader in the photogrammetry field. The firm offers services such as aerial photography, LAMP, LIDAR, GIS, ortho photography and digital mapping. For more information about ACA or MultiVision, call 1-407-851-7880 or visit www.aca-net.com.
