Tempe, Ariz., November 5, 2009 Aerials Express, a leading international provider of high-resolution digital imagery, announced their continuing investment in current aerial imagery along the United States and Mexico border. Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua and Tijuana, Baja were recently flown in 2009 as pilot projects under the new borderlands program.
We intend to collect aerial imagery wherever there is a need for current geospatial intelligence, offered Luke Pritchard, General Manager, Aerials Express. "Making current imagery available for the border region is relevant to a wide variety of consumers as well as to existing clients who are stakeholders in the area.
Products released in 2009 include 1-foot and 6-inch resolution orthophotographic mosaics. Additional datasets available include Color-Infrared (CIR) and stereo pair datasets for custom analysis. Aerials Express uses precision digital camera platforms with the highest levels of accuracy and content control.
The United States-Mexico borderland program reinforces Aerials Express as a strategic supplier of off-the-shelf imagery. The product is made available to a broad-range of consumers including civil agencies, NAFTA affiliates, environmental, infrastructure, and resource development service firms.
This program builds on the Aerial Express commitment to providing current aerial and satellite imagery to an increasing number of North American and international markets.
