Sharing is Caring

Arithmetica will be showcasing a range of portable video recording and playback systems at the forthcoming Security and Policing 2016 event, 08-10 March, Farnborough, UK. The systems, which include high definition cameras for capturing 360 degree images and video, rugged recorders and easy start software, can be carried in a rucksack, used for live streaming or mounted on a vehicle. Ideally suited for a range of police and security applications, such as risk assessment, event management, incident response and post event analysis and investigation, the SphereVision product suite also includes systems designed for covert operations. Arithmetica will be demonstrating the full SphereVision product range on stand A41 as well as previewing Pointfuse V2 – the “one button” point cloud to vector model software recently seen at ILMF.

Security and Policing 2016 will take place from the Tuesday 8 to Thursday 10 March 2016 at Farnborough FIVE (Farnborough International Venue and Events), Hampshire. Unique to this event is the participation of UK Government, and visitors to Security and Policing, who must be preregistered, will be subject to Home Office approval. The organisers are expecting representatives from the police service, government, security and law enforcement organisations, Home Office, prison service, fire service, military, customs and immigration services and key providers of Critical National Infrastructure.

“This is the second time we have had the privilege to attend the Security and Policing event, and we are therefore confident the specialist audience will appreciate the improvements and enhancements made to the SphereVision product range, including the portable and covert recording systems and the enhanced processing and presentational software,” commented Mark Senior, SphereVision Business Development Manager at Arithmetica.

Arithmetica will also be previewing a suite of SphereVision software designed to view, share and integrate 360 degree imagery and video trails. The newly upgraded SphereVision Project Builder allows for the integration of maps, plans and layouts with SphereVision captured footage. Other types of content rich media, such as photographs, documents, video and audio streams, can also be linked by hotspots to build a fully interactive and immersive experience. SphereVision Project Builder also includes the ability to export for viewing with the free Windows Viewer, or can be viewed on the web (FLASH and HTML5) as well as on mobile devices supporting iOS.

Other SphereVision recording systems, processing and playback solutions on display at Security and Policing 2016 will include SphereVision Live360 for reporting and management of an event or incident as it unfolds, SphereVision Road360 – purpose designed installations for vehicle use, and Training360 – designed for specialist equipment training using VR head mounted displays.
