Averus Eliminates Unauthorized Vehicle Use with NexTraq Fleet Tracking

Atlanta – October 24, 2012 –NexTraq, the value leader of GPS fleet tracking and vehicle management solutions, announced today that its client, Averus, has increased employee accountability while eliminating unauthorized vehicle use with the NexTraq® GPS Fleet Tracking platform. Averus has also reduced speeding and aggressive driving using the Posted Speed Alert functionality within the platform.

After being referred by an existing NexTraq customer, Averus decided to go with the NexTraq Fleet Tracking platform due to its ease-of-use and straightforward implementation process. Ron Schaefer, CFO for Averus, said, “The platform was quick to implement, and since it was so simple to understand, training really wasn’t necessary.”

Since implementing the NexTraq GPS Fleet Tracking solution, Averus has been able to validate employee hours and ensure employees are working productively. Schaefer said, “Since our employees work nights, there is nobody around to verify if they are where they should be.” He adds, “Now that we can monitor our drivers’ locations and see how long they have been there, we can more efficiently manage payroll expenses and provide our customers with validation of jobs completed.”

Mike Scarbrough, CEO of NexTraq, states, “We know the importance of providing exceptional customer service, which is why our platform comes equipped with the tools necessary to enhance your customer service levels.” Scarbrough adds, “Being able to verify billable hours not only helps to resolve customer disputes, but it shows that your business is reliable.”

In addition to efficiently keeping track of employee hours, Averus has been able to monitor and reduce speeding and aggressive driving using Posted Speed Alerts. Not only that, but they have also eliminated unauthorized vehicle use while increasing employee accountability. Schaefer adds, “Since we’re able to monitor the location of our vehicles, we can see which employees are using the company vehicles for personal use, so we can hold them accountable for their behavior.”

Since utilizing the NexTraq Fleet Tracking solution, Averus has been able to gain clear insight into its operations and improve overall fleet efficiency. Schaefer concludes, “NexTraq has helped us become 100% more aware of the issues and challenges, so we now know what areas need improvement.” For more information on the NexTraq Fleet Tracking platform, its applications – Fleet Mobile, Fleet Metrics and Fleet Dispatch – please visit www.nextraq.com or call us at 800.358.6178.
