Sharing is Caring

 - Blue Marble Geographics (bluemarblegeo.com) is pleased to announce that the call for presenters and speakers for the company’s 2016 User Conference Road Show is now open. Motivated by the success of the 2015 conference in Washington DC as well as previous events in Houston and Calgary, Blue Marble will be hosting a series of day-long conferences at venues throughout the U.S. and Canada in the month of March. As in the past, a significant portion of the agenda will be available for customers and users of Blue Marble products to share their experience and applications.

Blue Marble's geospatial data manipulation, visualization, and conversion solutions are used worldwide by thousands of GIS analysts at software, energy, mining, civil engineering, surveying, and technology companies, as well as government agencies and academic institutions.

Participation in the Blue Marble User Conference (BMUC) provides speakers with an opportunity to share and promote their company’s business practices and products with an audience of like-minded professionals. This exposure not only extends to those in attendance but also, through Blue Marble’s marketing communication channels, to a worldwide audience of GIS and geodetic specialists. To be considered for inclusion in the conference agenda, a presentation proposal must incorporate the use of Blue Marble technology or products as a standalone solution or as part a collaborative workflow.

Prospective speakers are encouraged to submit a presentation proposal for one or more of the BMUC events. The Road Show kicks off in Houston, TX on Tuesday, March 1st followed by Calgary, AB on Thursday, March 10th, coinciding with annual GeoConvention in that city. Tuesday, March 15th sees the Blue Marble team in the San Francisco Bay area after which the Road Show heads back towards the east coast, stopping in Pittsburgh, PA on Tuesday, March 22nd and finishing the journey in Boston, MA on Tuesday March 29th. Specific venues in each of the cities have yet to be finalized.

“For many, including the Blue Marble staff members who attend, the highlight of BMUC is the opportunity to hear from Blue Marble software users about their implementation experience and their success stories using Blue Marble technology” stated Patrick Cunningham, Blue Marble President. “In 2016 we are excited to be able to share these accounts with as large an audience as possible as we take the show on the road.”

For those planning to attend one of the BMUC Road Show events, registration is now open and space is limited. For more information, or to submit a presentation proposal, visit: www.bluemarblegeo.com/bmuc/index.php
