Call for Submissions: 2nd Edition of Atlas of Design

The North American Cartographic Information Society invites submissions for the Atlas of Design, a publication dedicated to honoring beautiful and interesting maps from around the world. All mapmakers are encouraged to offer their work for consideration. Entries will be judged by a panel of experts, and a book featuring the top choices will be published in October 2014.

Our goal is to draw attention to the role of art and beauty in mapmaking, and to produce a book that will inspire future mapmakers. To see the 2012 edition of the Atlas of Design, visit http://atlasofdesign.org/one.

To submit your work, visit http://atlasofdesign.org/submissions/en. Entries must be received by February 28, 2014. We hope that you will enter our competition, and that you will please pass this note to everyone around the world who makes maps. We want to reach them all.
