As evidenced by the recent insert in Government Technology Magazine (October 2012), GIS in local government is taking a new turn. The City of West University Place, TX has been a GIS user for a number of years. City management approved the investment and GTG assisted West University Place in the migration of their data to the ArcGIS for Local Government data model.
