Thursday, December 1st 2011

Until now social mapping attempts have been like Myspace was in 2005. You create a map, and then share it with the public or just a select few friends, within a portal.CloverPoint is changing social mapping forever with the launch of MapSocial. MapSocial promises to be the first truly modern social mapping experience and is launching first within the Facebook environment.

With its alpha release in December, MapSocial will allow users to build simple maps or complex infographics, collaboratively and simultaneously. MapSocial will provide Facebook’s, unprecedented, 800 million active users with a first of it’s kind tool to create and share geospatial data. This is the evolution of social mapping.
