"The COFPAES Federal Markets Conference is designed to bring together the federal government and the private sector for discussions on programs, budgets and procurement opportunities in the Architect-Engineer (A-E) and related services fields," said John Palatiello, COFPAES Administrator.
Each invited government agency will present information on its current program, the anticipated FY13 budget, the agency's requirements for acquisition of A-E services from the private sector that is on the horizon, and the potential impacts of sequestration.
Industries and markets that will be covered include Water & Transportation Infrastructure, Buildings, Defense and Security, Natural Resources and International.
A full list of participating agencies will be posted on the COFPAES website, www.cofpaes.org, as they become available. On-line registration and further information is also available on the site.
The conference will be held at The American Institute of Architects, 1735 New York Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20006.
