Continental Mapping Awarded 3 Year Photogrammetry and Lidar Master Contract with the Tennessee DOT

(Sun Prairie, WI)—October 17th, 2013—Continental Mapping Consultants, Inc. is pleased to announce that the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TNDOT) has selected Continental Mapping for their statewide photogrammetric mapping master contract.

"We are thrilled with TNDOT’s faith in us as a photogrammetry and lidar mapping company,” said Dave Hart, President of Continental Mapping. “Our business relationship with TNDOT goes back many years and we are excited to have another 3 years to put all of our capabilities at their disposal.”

The 3 year master contract will allow TNDOT to issue work orders for photogrammetry and mapping projects throughout the state. As part of this contract, TNDOT will have access to Continental Mapping’s aerial imagery and lidar (both fixed wing and rotary wing) acquisition assets, Riegl VMX-250 mobile lidar and a strong team of photogrammetrists, lidar analysts and GIS/mapping specialists.
