Critigen Lemur for Apple iPad Available Now

GIS-integration platform leverages a single configuration to drive the same functionality on both Windows and iOS devices.

Critigen is pleased to announce general availability of Lemur for use on Apple iOS devices including the iPad.  Lemur is a geoenrichment platform that unifies the information in your asset management system with essential location information and asset information from your corporate GIS. The Lemur Platform allows field teams to complete work management workflows entirely from an Esri GIS map integrated into their Work Management app.

Lemur's configuration capabilities for mapping, workflows and offline GIS provide flexibility to adapt to ever-changing business and IT environments without coding.   "Lemur's use of configuration instead of custom coding enables rapid deployment and starts positively impacting the business within weeks, not months." said William Griep, Vice President of Product Development. Critigen's support of the iPad is driven by iOS' popularity as a platform for mobile work management software for State and Local Government, Utilities and Oil & Gas in the field. Critigen has two customers already contracted for delivery of the iPad version of Lemur.  The addition of iOS support allows customers to create a single configuration for Lemur and run it natively on both Windows and Apple platforms. 

Lemur ensures field teams have critical GIS data on their devices while offline, without overusing cellular bandwidth, device storage or corporate GIS infrastructure. "Critigen is very excited to deliver enterprise-class offline GIS to iPads." said Ty van den Akker, Vice President of Product Strategy & business development. "Lemur offers customers the ability to distribute offline GIS data to iPads or Windows devices in an efficient, secure, centralized way, making use of offline GIS by thousands of users practical."    

Lemur for iPad and Windows is currently available pre-integrated to Innovapptive mWorkOrder for an integrated, out-of-the-box, and fully-customizable experience. Lemur is also available pre-integrated with Work Manager on both Windows and Apple platforms.  Additional integrations to in-house bespoke solutions or to existing third-party solutions are underway.
