Extension allows partnership to continue response preparations in anticipation of rapid post-disaster deployment Fairfax, VA—

February 5, 2016 Dewberry, a privately held professional services firm, has been awarded a six-month contract extension with the U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) as managing partner of the Partnership for Temporary Housing, LLC (PaTH). The partnership between Dewberry, Parsons Corporation, and DynCorp International provides individual assistance to disaster victims in FEMA Regions VIII, IX, and X by developing response plans to catastrophic events. These situations vary substantially but typically require PaTH to respond with the rapid deployment of project management professionals, planning staff, and, when warranted, operational teams to support temporary housing installation and mass care efforts. PaTH is currently assisting with manufactured housing unit installations for the Oglala Sioux Tribe on the Pine Ridge Reservation in southwest South Dakota following severe spring storms that caused straight line wind and flood damage to homes.
