Tele Atlas First to Offer Extensive Maps and Products Catalog on U.S. General Services Administration`s Information Technology Schedule 70

LEBANON, N.H. & HERNDON, VA-- Tele Atlas, a leading global provider of digital maps and dynamic content for navigation and location-based solutions, and DLT Solutions, a value-added reseller of industry-leading information technology (IT) products and services, announced an expanded agreement that will make Tele Atlas data and products for the Americas and Europe available to government buyers on General Services Administration (GSA) IT Schedule 70 number GS-35F-4543G.

The GSA provides a central delivery system of products and services to the federal government, leveraging its enormous buying power to get the best value for taxpayers. Utilizing GSA for procurement, DLT will be able to offer simplified access to Tele Atlas` comprehensive global digital map data and products with cost efficiency for government buyers, including state and local governments, creating shorter lead times and lower administrative costs. DLT was recently named a top IT GSA contractor. Tele Atlas is the only geographic data provider to offer this depth and range of products through the GSA Schedule.

Since 2005, Tele Atlas and DLT have collaborated to enable powerful applications around the world, including those for joint response and recovery, emergency, mobile command and planning and defense. Through the extended agreement, DLT will now deliver a broad range of Tele Atlas products to help enable enhanced display, smarter routing, and more locations. These enhancement products include Tele Atlas 2D City Maps, 3D Landmarks, Address Points, Logistics, points of interest (POIs), Speed Profiles and Urban Maps.

The agreement with DLT strengthens Tele Atlas`s leadership position in the government sector, where many of the nation`s agencies and state governments already leverage Tele Atlas maps, and demonstrates the companies` commitment to provide the high quality digital maps that can help ensure the success of critical activities such as public planning, emergency response and disaster preparedness.

"DLT has grown rapidly because we only work with the top manufacturers in each market segment to deliver deep subject matter expertise to our government customers," Jim Helou, vice president of sales, DLT Solutions. "Tele Atlas is one of these manufacturers and continues to distinguish itself by delivering high-quality map data and innovative enhancement products."

"Applications in the public sector, from emergency response, economic planning and remote asset management to those that assess the next decade`s infrastructure needs, demand the most accurate and powerful location content," said Mark Dykstra, Head of Government and Enterprise Sector, Tele Atlas. "Working with such a leader as DLT, we can make procurement quicker and simpler so that government agencies can focus on planning and execution with the full confidence they have the best map data and location content."
