Herndon, VA--DLT Solutions, Inc., a value-added reseller of information technology products and services to government, has partnered with GeoEye® (NASDAQ: GEOY) to provide image-derived geospatial information and intelligence to government organizations.

GeoEye is recognized as one of the geospatial industry's most trusted imagery experts, delivering reliable service and exceptional quality imagery products and solutions to customers. Their products and services enable timely, accurate, and accessible location intelligence such as mapping, environmental monitoring, urban planning, resource management, homeland defense, national security, and emergency preparedness.

“Public sector agencies rely on timely and precise geospatial information to make informed decisions in the planning and implementation of their projects and missions,” said Rick Marcotte, president and CEO of DLT Solutions. “GeoEye’s focus on improving and advancing the accessibility of these features to cross-functional agencies is a valuable asset to our customers."

The agreement currently includes GeoEye solutions which will be made available on DLT's GSA Schedule, DLT GS-35F-4543G.

GeoEye’s geospatial information supports government missions in the national security community, state and local government, and transportation and utilities sectors, among others. Their product suite creates highly accurate digital, land-based foundations using historical as well as current geospatial data. When integrated with systems that provide data aggregation, analysis, and viewing, these products allow users to execute a variety of different applications.

“GeoEye is excited to be working with DLT Solutions,” said Bill Wilt, Vice President of North American Sales for GeoEye. “DLT has the ability to bundle our imagery with other service offerings, which is not only something both private and public sector customers request, but an offering that we feel is very powerful given today’s economic state of affairs. Clients are looking for solutions to solve real problems, and we are providing them.”

DLT recently launched a new Geospatial Data Systems division, focusing on ease of use of geospatial data by public sector employees. GeoEye is featured alongside Google Earth Enterprise and solutions; Tele Atlas, delivering digital maps and dynamic content; and Autodesk Geospatial, innovative model-based design mapping and management tools that are redefining the integration of design and spatial data.
