East View Nautical Website Now Offering SHOM Charts

- Nautical maps from the Service hydrographique et océanographique de la Marine (SHOM) are now available at nautical.eastview.com, the Print-on-Demand website from East View Companies.

Employing more than 500 naval and civil personnel and utilizing an annual budget of more than €56.7 million, the SHOM is one of the largest nautical mapping agencies in the world. With an exclusive economic zone of 11 million square kilometers, and maritime borders with 30 countries, the agency has charts from nearly every part of the globe. The SHOM also provides permanent service of nautical data dissemination in the Atlantic zone, (Navarea II).

Currently, there are more than 700 SHOM maps available for purchaseon the nautical.eastview.com website. Additionally, East View customers can contact their representative to request customization options including track lines, waypoints, vectorization and mosaicking at a nominal fee.
