IDV Solutions and Microsoft announce Visual Fusion Suite as an important extension for government customers that adopt Microsoft's new Single View Platform

Lansing,MI-- Microsoft has named IDV Solutions a key Microsoft Single View Platform partner. IDV Solutions' Visual Fusion Suite is a visual composite application platform that integrates enterprise information and Web services into a geospatial data visualization. Microsoft Single View Platform is a solutions platform for Data Visualization that provides government agencies with solutions for one comprehensive geospatial view of critical data. Microsoft Single View Platform provides a single, geographic view of complex information and data sets across multiple roles, locations, and user interfaces that can improve agency communication, collaboration, and decision-making to increase the success of essential initiatives.

IDV Solutions' ability to integrate Microsoft's technologies using Visual Fusion Suite into widely used applications that improve collaboration and response time of the government is unmatched. Visual Fusion provides robust integration with Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Virtual Earth, and SQL Server. With Single View Platform and Visual Fusion, government agencies have the ability to visualize multiple disparate data sources into one integrated geospatial platform.

"We are delighted to partner with IDV Solutions and their Visual Fusion Suite as a key enhancement to the Microsoft Single View Platform," said Joel Cherkis, Microsoft's General Manager of US Public Sector Industry Unit. "Together we will deliver advanced capabilities for our partners and customers to create rich, complex and scalable data visualization applications in record time."

The United Nations' International Telecommunication Union (ITU) launched ITU Global View, a data visualization solution jointly developed with IDV Solutions and Microsoft. The application uses Visual Fusion Suite and the Microsoft Single View Platform. The mapping application is being used to track and help accelerate the implementation of goals for the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS). It provides decision-makers and stakeholders with a comprehensive view of current telecommunications infrastructure, projects and statistics.

"IDV Solutions is pleased to offer government agencies the tools to allow critical applications to be built and deployed very quickly," said Scott Parker, Vice President of Sales and Channel at IDV Solutions. "With Visual Fusion and Single View Platform government agencies can build an application within days and can immediately use it to display and access enterprise information."
