Atlantic, a Huntsville-based company specializing in remote sensing, surveying and consulting services, has named Eric Bale Associate Vice President of Flight Operations for the company. Bale previously served Scientific Applications International Corporation as a Senior Analyst, Engineer and Scientist.
In his new role as Associate Vice President of Flight Operations, Bale will oversee and manage all maintenance of Atlantic’s fleet of aircraft. This is a senior management position that requires leadership and management of a team of full-time and contract employees engaged in Atlantic’s airborne operations business.
“Eric has a unique combination of business intellect and operational knowledge about aircraft operations,” said Brian Mayfield, President, Atlantic. “His background, experience and knowledge will lead Atlantic’s flight operations to achieve a higher degree of quality, efficiency and most importantly, safety.”
Bale has a wealth of experience coupled with specialized training, 2448 fixed wing flight hours and numerous awards. He holds a Masters in Science in Aviation System Safety from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.
