Exprodat Builds on Petroleum ArcGIS Training Success in Houston

Exprodat, the UK-based provider of petroleum GIS services, software and training, completed a successful series of training courses in Houston, Texas in 2012. As the courses were so well received, Exprodat has decided to double the number of places on offer in Houston in 2013. To view the dates of the courses on offer, see Exprodat’s 2013 public training schedule.

Vickie White, Exprodat Training Business Development Manager explains the decision to provide extra training places: "Customer feedback from the recent public courses in Houston confirmed demand for Exprodat training; supporting regional hot spots for development of GIS skills in the E&P industry is very much on our agenda for 2013 and we are excited to add more dates in Houston to the programme.”

Exprodat's petroleum ArcGIS training courses are designed to ensure that attendees return to their offices with new knowledge and capabilities that will have a real impact on their effectiveness. The courses teach not only the oil and gas industry-standard ArcGIS software but how to effectively implement ArcGIS within petroleum workflows.

The courses program comprises:

  • ArcGIS Essentials for Petroleum
  • ArcGIS Data Management for Petroleum
  • ArcGIS Coordinate Reference Systems for Petroleum
  • ArcGIS Basin & Play Analysis for Petroleum
  • ArcGIS 3D Surface Analysis for Petroleum
  • ArcGIS Image Analysis for Petroleum

For anyone unable to attend a course in person, Exprodat offers additional courses via their Virtual Classroom, also new for 2013.
