First Horizons Contracts for Yotta Australia
Yotta Australia, the authorised distributor of Horizons software for Australia and New Zealand, has won its first contracts for the visualised asset management platform. The recently signed software and service agreement will see Horizons being used to support two large-scale Maintenance Alliance Contracts encompassing more than 7,500kms of arterial road network for VicRoads, the road and traffic authority in the state of Victoria. Yotta Australia worked in partnership with Fulton Hogan, who successfully bid for the VicRoads tenders, demonstrating the power of Horizons for asset management, strategic works planning and scenario modelling.

Fulton Hogan, a specialist with more than eighty years’ experience in the transport infrastructure sector, was awarded two Maintenance Alliance Contracts by VicRoads. Covering the Eastern and South Western Region, Fulton Hogan will deliver a complete range of maintenance services across the highways realm for an initial period of five years, with a possible extension of an additional five years. Yotta Australia supported Fulton Hogan throughout the bid process, using Horizons to demonstrate different scenarios and options available as part of the tender offering.
Horizons, a visualised asset management platform, was launched in the Australia New Zealand region in early 2015. Already established in the UK and Europe, Horizons is a cloud based solution designed to make it easier for asset managers to visualise, manage and optimise all their asset management strategies and records in a unique and effective way. Since launching to market in 2012, Horizons has revolutionised asset management across a range of applications and is now used in the UK by around 50 local authorities in addition to service partners and maintenance contractors.
