GE Energy launches new Smallworld Software Solution for collaboration with Oracle® database

ATLANTA, GA - February 2 2011 - GE Energy today announced the release of the Smallworld* Enterprise Gateway solution. This new software product enables users of GE’s geospatial solutions to directly use Smallworld data for applications operating on Oracle® Spatial technology.

It allows re-using the quality models of the proven Smallworld industry applications suite for non-Smallworld applications, and can be configured and operated very efficiently.
