GeoComm Enhances Project Management Team

St. Cloud, MN: Geo-Comm, Inc. (GeoComm) is excited to announce the appointment of Christy Hayes, PMP, ENP, to the position of Director of Project Management and addition of GIS Project Manager Jessica Frye to the team.

Christy has worked as a project coordinator and project manager within GeoComm’s project management office (PMO) for over five years. Under Christy’s leadership, the company will continue to ensure that geographic information system (GIS) and Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG9-1-1) project management team members operate within the established practices for project management and possess the knowledge, experience, and skills to bring projects to successful completion.

Jessica Frye, a respected and well-known GIS and 9-1-1 expert throughout the Midwest, joins the project management team. Jessica will serve as a GIS project manager within GeoComm’s PMO and will focus on working with multi-jurisdictional agencies working together to coordinate GIS for 9-1-1.

“Christy’s immense public safety and project management experience and professional certifications will guide GeoComm project teams as they proactively manage client and partner projects,” stated Todd Pieper, Assistant Vice President of Client Services. “Also, we are thrilled to have Jessica join the GeoComm PMO. Her dedication and experience align with GeoComm’s project management approach, and she is a great addition to the team.”

GeoComm’s PMO utilizes processes and guidelines set forth by the Project Management Institute (PMI) and their Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, a globally recognized and demanded program in order to demonstrate the company’s commitment to the professional skills necessary, to lead project teams and achieve successful project results. GeoComm team members are trained to operate within these project management practices and possess the knowledge, experience, and skills to ensure successful project completion.
