Vertical and indoor 9-1-1 caller locations are coming to 9-1-1 and GeoComm is pleased to offer a free webinar explaining what this change means to you. Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG9-1-1) supports indoor location via sub address elements including floor and room, and in early 2015, the Federal Communications Commission approved new rules for 9-1-1 call accuracy which for the first time includes elevation.

This webinar, titled 3D The Next Dimension of Emergency Response, will cover the affect indoor location accuracy may have for public safety agencies and how agencies can prepare for these technological developments. In addition, webinar attendees will also learn about the findings and conclusions discovered during a pilot project GeoComm implemented to study 3D mapping and indoor wireless accuracy.

The webinar will be held at 1:00 p.m. Central Time on Thursday, May 28, 2015 and presented by a GeoComm NG9-1-1 subject matter expert. Visit http://www.geo-comm.com/3d-webinar-signup-form/ to sign up for the webinar.
