GIS/CAMA 2012 Conference Registration Discounts Expiring

The International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO) and the Urban and Regional Information Systems Association (URISA) are pleased to announce the 16th Annual GIS/CAMA (Geographic Information Systems / Computer-Assisted Mass Appraisal) Technologies Conference, to be held March 12-15, 2012 at the Hyatt Regency in San Antonio, Texas. Significant registration discounts are available through January 10, 2012.

The conference features three preconference workshops:

  • Land Records and GIS Integration
  • Introduction to Valuation and Spatial Analysis
  • Spatial Statistics Using GIS for Assessors

Michael Amezquita, Chief Appraiser of the Bexar Appraisal District, will discuss the history of the San Antonio Riverwalk and its economic impact on the city, in the opening keynote address. Twenty-one breakout sessions are featured covering the conference tracks: Get It Done, Run The Numbers, and Serve It Up. Of course, the exhibit hall remains an important part of this annual specialty conference and vendor luncheon sessions are also planned for in-depth product/service information and education (sponsored by CCI, Esri, Manatron and Tyler Technologies).

An IGNITE session filled with fast-paced presentations and a ‘Gadget-Palooza’ closing session featuring the latest and greatest techno-gadgets will be both entertaining and educational.
