GISCI Considers Exam Offering at the 2016 Esri UC

Sharing is Caring

Des Plaines, IL (March 7, 2016) GISCI recently completed the Inaugural GISCI Geospatial Core Technical Knowledge Exam® for GISP Certification in November 2015 and recently announced the first worldwide testing window for the next test offering for the period of July 5-9, 2016. GISCI is now considering offering an additional exam window coincident with the Esri UC conference in San Diego, CA, scheduled for the last week in June. This event would be in addition to the worldwide testing event and would be restricted to San Diego and the User Conference. If scheduled, it would take place the week before our worldwide testing event in July.

As a part of that preliminary consideration, we would like to gauge the level of interest from UC attendees by having interested parties notify us via email of their interest in taking the exam at that time. If you would be interested in this possibility, please respond by email to info@gisci. Please use ‘Exam at the UC’ as the subject line. This expression of interest would not sign you up for the exam, nor be a commitment to participate. Existing GISPs are not eligible to take the Exam at any time, and it is not a part of GISP recertification. GISCI will offer the GISCI Geospatial Core Technical Knowledge Exam® to individuals independent of the application for the Portfolio Review process.
