Geographic Technologies Group (GTG) is pleased to announce the interfacing of their 311GIS product with Cityworks from Azteca. GTG will be demoing the application at the Cityworks annual conference this week in Park City, Utah. Curt Hinton, President of GTG, states, “We are excited to interface our GIS centric 311 solution with Cityworks. Many of our existing clients and prospective 311GIS users are Cityworks users. This gives them the best of both worlds.” 311GIS allows citizens to input a concern based upon a pre-approved list of concerns. Citizens can utilize the web, phone, or tablet based interface. The citizen is notified upon changes of the status of their concern. Mr. Hinton notes, “Citizens are becoming more and more technically savvy. It is incumbent upon local government to provide tools that digitally enable their citizenry and provide bi-directional contact.” 311GIS has a robust backend routing and validation tool used by staff within local governments.

For a demonstration of this cloud based application, contact Matt McLamb at 919-344-2169 ext. 171 or mmclamb@geotg.com.
