IDV Solutions maker of Visual Fusion enterprise mashup and data visualization software, today announced a new partnership with The Gartrell Group, a Portland, Oregon-based provider of GIS solutions and consulting.

The Gartrell Group will incorporate Visual Fusion into location intelligence solutions for public sector clients from all levels of government, and private sector clients in fields that include energy, utilities, banking, transportation, real estate, and health care. Visual Fusion is a platform for creating applications that integrate enterprise data, Web services, and unmanaged workgroup files into a single view. It enables multiple types of visualizations, including maps, timelines, heat maps, data grids and charts.

“The Gartrell Group is delighted about this partnership and the benefits it will bring to our clients,” said Bryce Gartrell, Principal with the Gartrell Group. “In our work with the IDV team, we’re finding some compelling ways to harness core GIS horsepower to Visual Fusion’s terrific location intelligence and presentation capabilities. The IDV partnership adds new dimensions to our hosted and managed services, mobile GIS capabilities, and options for powerful business intelligence integration. This is good stuff!”

“IDV is very pleased to partner with The Gartrell Group," said Dan Shaver, Director of Commercial Sales at IDV. "The combination of our software and their GIS expertise is a natural fit. We believe Visual Fusion will bring enhanced value to their customers as they seek to integrate business intelligence and location intelligence—an area where Visual Fusion excels."
