Lansing, MI, July 22, 2010--IDV Solutions today announced an upcoming webinar entitled “Microsoft Global Security and Visual Fusion.” The webinar is scheduled for 1 pm ET on Tuesday, August 3, 2010 and will demonstrate how the Microsoft Global Security team is using Visual Fusion software to monitor company facilities around the world. With Visual Fusion the team has successfully integrated over 50 products and systems into a cohesive visualization for greater situational awareness. From this visual mashup of asset locations, video camera feeds, card reader info, disaster alerts, current weather, etc., responders can easily do incident management with very defined workflows and processes set up within Visual Fusion and Microsoft’s SharePoint Server.

The Global Security team application is built on Visual Fusion software from IDV Solutions. Visual Fusion is used to quickly build business intelligence applications that unite disparate data into interactive web-based data visualizations (maps, timelines, and analytics) for superior context, rapid insight, and decisive action.

The webinar is open to all attendees and anyone interested can register here.
