3D Visualization Tool Featured by AGI, TerraEchos and the Sanborn Mapping Company During Geospatial Event

The conference, hosted at the San Diego Convention Center on July 23-27, will feature presentations and trainings related to current trends in geospatial and geographic information systems (GIS), for users from around the world.

"The advent of 3D technologies has opened the door for a number of improvements in the geospatial field. We look forward to demonstrating with our partners, AGI, TerraEchos and the Sanborn Mapping Company, how zSpace enables them to simulate various situations in 3D, as well as showcasing the positive impact 3D visualization has on their planning process," said Paul Kellenberger, CEO of Infinite Z.

Infinite Z will be demonstrating zSpace at the following partner booths:

AGI, Booth D127

AGI is a provider of desktop and server software used to model, analyze and visualize space, defense and intelligence systems. AGI works with Infinite Z to enhance mission planning by simulating special operations in 3D.

"When modeling complex systems for defense operations, the ability to visualize in true 3D provides an intuitive understanding of performance in the mission environment," said Joshua Reicher, technical product manager of AGI. "zSpace adds a new dimension to interacting with the model, improving the quality of mission planning, troubleshooting and rehearsal operations."

TerraEchos, Booth D125

TerraEchos, Inc., an internationally recognized leader in stream computing, harnesses the power of real-time analytics for extreme workflow optimization. In its Zephyr simulator, TerraEchos partners with Infinite Z to demonstrate the ability to visualize streaming complex objects moving in three dimensional space without the normal performance and rendering limitations associated with true 3D-geospatial visualization.

"We are incredibly excited to be working with Infinite Z and demonstrating our Kairos solutions running on zSpace," said Dr. Alex Philp, founder and CTO of TerraEchos, Inc. "Combining our streaming analytics with a world-class 3D-visualization platform allows our customers to gain meaningful insights that are not apparent in traditional GEOINT visualizations. zSpace is a radical next step in geospatial visualization."

The Sanborn Mapping Company, Booth 2500

The Sanborn Mapping Company delivers total geospatial solutions for customers worldwide by providing quality, high-value data for applications ranging from traditional ground surveys, to advanced web-based information platforms and state of the art 3D visualization systems. The Sanborn Mapping Company works with Infinite Z to create high resolution city modeling for planning and preparedness purposes in 3D.

"Sanborn's GEOINT Intelligence Programs believes zSpace will enhance the analytic experience for mission visualization of high resolution city 3D modeling, planning tactics and preparedness," said Jessica King, vice president of intelligence programs at the Sanborn Mapping Company.

GIS compiles and analyzes geographic information through a mix of hardware, software and data. The capabilities of the technology are rapidly evolving with developments in mobile and the cloud -- and provide professionals who use these tools with more robust, real-time information. With advancements in 3D visualization, like those offered through zSpace, GIS users can analyze geographic data in an intuitive and realistic environment. The transparency and insight provided by these new technologies are continuing to advance the state of the geospatial industry, and truly usher in a new era of GIS.
