Intermap's leading-edge geospatial data now available to subscribers of Blue Marble's Global Mapper Software

DENVER, May 29, 2012 - Intermap and Blue Marble Geographics, two of the world's leading providers of highly accurate geospatial data solutions, announced a strategic partnership today to integrate Intermap's NEXTMap(R) dataset with Blue Marble's Global Mapper software. Users can see the value of this integration during an online workshop scheduled for Thursday, June 14th at 2 p.m. EDT when the use of digital terrain models in Global Mapper will be demonstrated live. Registration for the Global Mapper/Intermap workshop can be found at: https://www3.gotomeeting.com/register/907564646.

Developed as one of the first partner applications for Blue Marble's Global Mapper version 13.2, the integration can provide thousands of GIS analysts access to Intermap's NEXTMap WebStore 2.0 for rich, high-precision elevation data and expanded coverage datasets.

"Global Mapper has a long history of working with Intermap, and this integration allows us to reaffirm and expand our service offering by giving our users access to Intermap's NEXTMap dataset from within our Global Mapper software," said Patrick Cunningham, president of Blue Marble. "Overall, this partnership will enable our users from across the globe to perform location-based analysis using the most accurate terrain data available."

Available worldwide to thousands of GIS analysts at software, oil and gas, mining, civil engineering, surveying, and technology companies, as well as governmental and university organizations, Blue Marble's integration with Intermap's NEXTMap dataset can help expand the company's reach into new markets around the globe.
