Introducing InfoGeographics Navigator for Geocortex Essentials

InfoGeographics Navigator for Geocortex Essentials is a free utility created and distributed by InfoGeographics, Inc. for use with Latitude Geographics’ popular Geocortex Essentials technology.

Available now, this utility provides streamlined access to key software components, file system locations, and high level site configuration elements associated with local Geocortex Essentials instances. “We wanted to give something useful back to the Geocortex community and highlight our deep skills with Essentials and ArcGIS, the Navigator concept really fit the bill.” says Jim Bennett, President of InfoGeographics.

From a single interface, it allows administrators to see and launch web mapping sites and components, and access the related file system objects directly across multiple installed instances of Geocortex Essentials. “InfoGeographics is an experienced implementation partner of Latitude Geographics, and they’ve come up with some great ways to enrich aspects of Geocortex Essentials administration,” notes Steven Myhill-Jones, CEO of Latitude Geographics. “I think that the fact we’ve embraced this utility for our own project work speaks to its value, and I’m very supportive of the work they’re doing in this space.” Navigator highlights InfoGeographics’ high level skills with Geocortex Essentials and ArcGIS; the firm is available for projects involving Geocortex Essentials implementation, advanced workflow and reporting, viewer customization, training, support, and leveraging spatial and non-spatial databases – particularly with spatial data types and Spatial SQL. InfoGeographics Navigator for Geocortex Essentials is available for download on InfoGeographics’ website.
