New cloud-based service from Landiscor Aerial Information is a comprehensive mapping solution for commercial real estate brokers, developers and retailers.

Phoenix, AZ, May 30, 2012

Landiscor Aerial Information recently released an online mapping product called LanDiscover. It includes the most current aerial imagery combined with retailer locations nationwide for big box, fast food, grocery and pharmacy.

The product was developed in partnership with Digital Map Products, using their SpatialStream™ web mapping technology and is built on the same platform as their existing LandVision™ and CityGIS™ products.

“The initial feedback we’ve received after launching LanDiscover has been overwhelming,” said Matt Schaeffer, Landiscor General Manager. “Our customers are excited about using a high-performance online mapping program that combines current aerial imagery with valuable real estate information. The SpatialStream™ platform from Digital Map Products allows us to offer a comprehensive online mapping solution that is easy for our customers to use and performs better than anything else on the market today.”

Popular features of LanDiscover include: measuring and graphics tools, parcel boundaries, exporting digital image files to use in other applications, and printing maps up to 20” x 30”. In addition to these items, customers have shown significant interest in the ability of Landiscor to customize the maps with GIS data layers specific to their company.

“By teaming with Landiscor with their extensive national client database, we are able to extend our cloud-based mapping technology to a wider range of customers.” said Jim Skurzynski, Digital Map Products CEO. “The complementary features of LanDiscover and LandVision™ will allow our respective companies to provide map-based solutions to real estate customers of all sizes and in a variety of markets.”

There is no longer a need to purchase any desktop aerial mapping software or use external hard drives with large imagery files for different markets. With cloud-based technology, when a new market is flown or the retailer locations are updated, that data is immediately available to LanDiscover customers through Digital Map Products’ Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) business model. Easy access is now available to the most up-to-date imagery and other real estate information through a web browser from anywhere you can get to the Internet.
