The event will provide a valuable opportunity for new and existing LFM customers to learn about industry best practices and the innovative features of the new software. During the one-day meeting, LFM’s laser scanning experts will share the latest capabilities provided by LFM Server 4.2. Sessions will focus specifically on the production of deliverables and the developments for engineering users, and will cover the newest enhancements, including those to CAD links. LFM will also be revealing exciting advances being made using mobile technology and discussing the business opportunities that these will create.

“This year’s LFM User Meeting is a very exciting prospect,” said Bruce Douglas, Senior Vice-President, EDS Strategy & Marketing, AVEVA. “We have a packed agenda that will showcase our new LFM product features and enhancements, many of which have been developed as a direct result of feedback from delegates at our previous user meetings. The new mobile technology will also be introduced to our customers for the first time at the Houston meeting. We will demonstrate some very exciting advances, further enabling the ubiquitous use of laser scanning across a business to provide increased competitive advantage.
