LocationSmart Launches U.S. Cellular Mobile Location Services

Addition of nearly five million subscribers gives LocationSmart the broadest mobile location footprint

LocationSmart®, the leading provider of real-time location and interactivity services announces support for U.S. Cellular, one of the largest wireless telecommunications networks in the United States, to extend location information services to U.S. Cellular customers through LocationSmart’s cloud-based platform.
 
LocationSmart’s partnership with U.S. Cellular expands the reach of LocationSmart’s customer applications and enterprise solutions, providing immediate opportunities for additional location-based services revenues. The LocationSmart platform provides enterprises access to over 95% of mobile subscribers nationwide. This launch makes U.S. Cellular immediately locatable for existing LocationSmart customers simply by obtaining the consent of the user. U.S. Cellular customers will also now have access to valuable applications and solutions available through all Tier 1 wireless carrier networks, leveraging mobile location to provide a meaningful, personal experience.
